Attention Freshmen Board! We will have a meeting on Wednesday at 7:30 in room 141 to discuss fundraising ideas. New members are always welcome!

Students interested in chess or card club, meet Mr. Fisher in the student commons on Tuesday after school.

Attention all Cavaliers:  There will be a Renaissance meeting after school today in the Cavalier Community Room.  New members are welcome!


There will be an intramural dodgeball tournament on Wednesday, September 15th. Sign up your team of 5 people outside the PE office in the Sellett gym. Any questions, see Mr. Keating.


A representative from St. Ambrose University will be here today during 2nd hour.  Interested students can sign up in the Counseling Office to meet with this representative.


There are several college representatives that will be coming this month.and next month.  Make sure to check out the lphs webpage.  It's also listed on the bulletin board outside the Counseling Office.


Are you impacted by a friend or a family member that struggles with addiction? If so, please see your counselor for information on the, anonymous, Alateen support group. 


There will be a mandatory Yearbook Club meeting at 2:45pm on Thursday, September 16 in room 156.  See you there!


Hi Cavaliers! Our star-studded red carpet event, The Cavalier Choice Awards, hosted by the Ell Ess Pe Yearbook staff, will be on Friday, November 12th at 7 PM in the auditorium, but superlative voting starts today! The winners of the many superlatives depend on your vote! The first round consists of nominating 4 peers that you believe hold the qualities of the superlatives. Round 1 starts today and will end Friday, September 17th. Make sure to participate and submit your vote via the link found in your email from yearbook!


Attention seniors:  There will be a College 101 meeting tomorrow, September 14th during 2nd and 6th hour to help with college applications.  Interested students can sign up in the Counseling Office. 


Attention students: There will be a GSA meeting tomorrow, September 14th, after school in Mr. Makeever's room, room 331.


Drama Club will be meeting today, Monday,  September 13th from 2:50 until 4pm in Room 135. Please let Ms. K know if you have any questions or if you are not able to attend. New members are always welcome.


Attention Juniors: The deadline to register for the PSAT/NMSQT is tomorrow, Tuesday, September 14, at 3:00. The cost of the exam is $18 and the fee is due when you register. Please register at the LPHS Bookstore during bookstore hours. If you have any questions, please contact Mr. Gibson.


Are you interested in make a table top game? If so come join Technology Club after school today, Monday September 13th, in the East Building room 115 in the ACC wing. We will be looking and play testing different table top games. Help us make the next Candy Land! If you are interested in participating but can’t make it please contact either Mr. Wiercinski or Mr. Koesler for more information.


Variety Show try outs will be Tuesday, September 14 in the East Gym beginning at 3:15 pm. Please see Mrs. Hartman in room 338 if you are interested in trying out.


Junior Board will have a brief meeting Wednesday, September 15 at 7:30 am in Mrs. Hartman’s room to discuss Variety Show.


Attention students!- if you like nature, working on projects and labs, watching movies, and learning new things, then come to the next Science Club meeting on Friday, September 17th right after school in room 306.


The Homecoming Dance is only 3 weeks away on October 2nd!  This year it will be outside at the LP Sports Complex.  Tickets are $10 per person and will be on sale during lunch in the cafeteria throughout the week before.


The annual Homecoming Powderpuff (girls flag football) Game will take place on Wednesday, September 29th, after the parade at 6pm.  Ask Mr. Zukowski in room 340 to sign up!


LP students:  do you have an interest or skill that is found in one of the LP or ACC CTE courses?  If so, would you like an opportunity to better that skill, or compete against others who share that same skill set?  The good news is there is a new club that is available to you called Skills USA.  This club is just getting started and is headed by Mr. Koesler in the ACC.  If you would be interested in learning more about this club, and what it offers you, contact Mr. Koesler regarding your interest and he will get information to you regarding meetings and upcoming competitions.  For your knowledge, CTE courses are any Business Course, Programming, Foods, Child Care, Nursing or any course in trades such as Woods, CAD, Electricity, Auto, Welding, Machining, Cosmetology and Fire Science.

The online store to order senior spirit wear is open, with the last day to order September 25th. Information can be found on the LPHS website or LP social media. Any questions, please contact Mrs. Lamboley or Mrs. Scoma.
