Attention Sophomores and Juniors--Link Leader applications are due this Friday, May 7 by 3pm. Please check your school email for an email from Mr. Clydesdale that explains the application process. We'd love to hear from you! Email Mr. Clydesdale or Mrs. Hartman with any questions.
There will be a yearbook meeting Wednesday, May 5th at 2:40pm in room 156. All class members current or future and anyone interested in joining the club should attend. We will be discussing summer camp plans and fundraising ideas. If you have any questions, please email Ms. West ASAP.
Summer APT camp will be from June 7th - August 5th Monday through Thursday mornings. Times will be 6, 7, 8, and 9. See Mr. Keating or your coach for a flyer.
There will be open gyms Monday and Wednesday at the Sellett gym from 5 to 6 pm. Any questions, ask Coach Vickery.
This is an announcement that if you are needing summer school this upcoming summer, registration is going on now via the link to the form below.
The courses being offered are listed in the form (up to 4 semesters of classes may be taken over summer, 1 each section in June and 1 each section in July) and will be taught in-person at LPHS. Seats are limited and filled on a first come, first serve basis. The deadline to sign up is Friday, May 30. All courses are offered free of charge.
Please see your counselor if you have any questions. Please also finish this semester strong to remain on track for graduation and to avoid summer school courses if possible. Your teachers and counselors are here to help you.
Attention Students: It is that time of year when Renaissance is seeking nominations for various awards. We have sent nominations for three different awards to your student email. These awards are The Sir Ranier Award which is given to a coach or sponsor who have shown dedication and commitment to their sport or activity, The Tireless and Staff Award which is given to a faculty and staff member who go above and beyond for students at LP, and the Most Inspirational Student Award which is given to students who inspire us to do better, be better, and look for the positives every day. Please get your nominations in by Monday, May 10.
The U of I Crop Science department has created a two-week online training program geared towards youth 16 and up that will focus on the skills and fundamentals of precision agriculture. This is a FREE course, but has an application attached to it that requires a few steps on behalf of the student. The course will culminate in an opportunity to pitch their idea to crop science faculty and receive recognition and support for their work.
The applications are due May 5th.

AP STUDENTS: Please check your LPHS student emails for your AP Exam Room Assignments. Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday assignments will be sent today. Next week's assignments will be sent to student emails at the end of this week.
The final make-up date for the SAT for juniors will be Tuesday, May 18. If you missed the primary date and the first make-up date, please look for information from Mr. Gibson on the May 18 make-up date.
Attentions Seniors interested in attending this years Promenade held on Saturday, May 22nd --- please complete and return the registration form by Friday, May 7th. Registration forms are available at the greeters desk.
