Homecoming week is this week. The theme is “Stronger Together”, and the spirit dress-ups are as follows:

Monday:  Class colors  (Seniors -black; Juniors- white; sophomores- gray, freshmen-blue)

Tuesday:  Hero day (This could be emergency responders, local heroes, or any of your favorite popular super heroes)

Wednesday: Dynamic Duo (aka twin day)

Thursday: America Day (wear your red/white/blue)

Friday: Cavalier Spirit Day (wear red and green)


The Variety Show is tonight, April 19th at 7:00 pm in the Sellett Gym. Spectators are limited to family members of participants. Doors will open at 6:15. The show will also be livestreamed on LP’s facebook page. Please watch as our students share their talents and our new Homecoming King & Queen are crowned.


Variety Show participants: Please plan to arrive at 5:15 for one final run through before the show. Homecoming Court members, please arrive at 5:45.


Attention Sophomores and Juniors--Link Crew is calling you!  Link Crew is looking for Link Leaders for the 2021-2022 school year to help welcome and mentor the class of 2025 at LPHS.  Please watch your LPHS email for application information.  Any questions should be directed to Mr. Clydesdale or Mrs. Hartman.  


Attention all students: if you’re interested in running the scoreboard or announcing at the varsity home baseball games, please see coach Glupczynski in room 131.


Special Olympics and LEAD will be making posters together today at 3:00. 


Wrestling season officially starts today!! If you are interested in wrestling this year, be to the school between 3-3:15. See Coach Rebholz in the wrestling room. If you are in football or other sports, we will see you after your current season is done!


Anyone interested in summer APT camp, see Mr. Keating or a coach of a sport you're in. It's open to any LP student, not just athletes. Any questions see Mr. Keating.


Drama Club will be meeting on Tuesday at 3:15 on Google Meets. We will be Re-Casting our Favorite Movies, Musicals and TV Shows. Please be on time, and if you have any questions or would like to join Drama Club, please let Ms. Koukol know.


April 27 is the make-up date for the SAT for juniors who were not able to attend the primary test date. Any juniors who did not attend last week should check their LPHS student email for information from Mr. Gibson on the make-up date.


All juniors will be taking the Illinois Science Assessment on Wednesday, April 28. In-Person students who were previously classified as "Red" day students will take the assessment from 8:00-9:30. In-Person students who were previously classified as "Green" day students will take the assessment from 10:00-11:30. There will be a session from 1:00-2:30 that afternoon for Remote students.
