Attention sophomores and juniors: ACC sign-ups for next school year will begin today. You can sign up in the Counseling office.


There is a GSA meeting tomorrow after school in room #331 with snacks!!


Key Club will be meeting Tuesday morning at 7:15 AM in the CCR. Remember that we will be crafting in preparation for this Saturdays Santa's Workshop. Holiday attire is mandatory! 


Freshmen and Sophomore Boards will meet Wednesday, December 4th at 7:30 in Room 141. Please bring your candy money if you have not already turned it in!


O Holiday Giving Tree, O Holiday Giving Tree, How lovely are thy branches! Where's Key Club's Annual Holiday Giving Tree? It's in the library!! That's where you can bring your donation of items for Illinois Valley Animal Rescue to make a dog or cat's holiday merry and bright. Remember to enter to win a prize for bringing in a donation. 


The next fun intramural activity will be doubles ping pong on December 4th at 7:00 in the North Balcony. Sign your team up outside the PE office. Any questions, ask Coach Keating.


Do you want to learn to build a website or write a program? Computer Club coders meet every Friday after school in Mr. Bjerkaas’ room - 341. New members are always welcome!


Attention Seniors: Daniela Rios of ISAC will be here every Thursday during periods 3, 4, 5a and 5b to offer direct assistance with college applications and FAFSA.  Please visit the counseling office if you would like to sign up.


Freshman and Sophomore board will be meeting on Wednesday at 7:30 in room 141. Candy money is due at the meeting.


There will be an FCA meeting Wednesday morning at 7:15 in room 339.


Attention all baseball players not playing a winter sport: Meet Coach Glupczynski outside the weight room right after school.


Attention girls wishing to do track & field this year.  There will be a short informational meeting in room 304 at 7:30am tomorrow morning, Tuesday, December 3rd.  If you cannot make it, talk to Coach Beatty.  There is no obligation, and dual sport athletes are welcome.


Attention students with a study hall, ACC or dual credit class: Your teachers will be handing out Exam/Attendance waivers in your class today. These forms need to be signed by a parent and by those teachers that you have a study hall, ACC or dual credit class with. The completed forms are due at the Greeter’s Desk by Friday, December 13th. If these forms are completed and turned in by Friday, December 13th, you will not have to be here on Exam days during the hours that you have study hall, ACC or dual credit class.


There is no such thing as "AWAY".  When we throw anything away it must go somewhere. Please see Ms. Lance for information about the Green Team.  There will be a meeting on December 5th @ 2:45 in the Student Commons.


There is an opportunity for a $1000 scholarship per year for students who are accepted to North Central College. The deadline is today. Stop in the Counseling office for more information.


Special Olympics will be having their first basketball game at Putnam County Tuesday, December 10th at 5:30.  Come on out and support your Special Olympics Cavs!

A representative from the U.S. Navy will be in the North Commons today in the North Commons during all lunch periods.
