Congratulations to the intramural bags championship team of Connor Reese and Alex Lenkaitis. They defeated Ayden Sines and Drake Weber in the championship game. Mason Mitchell and Coach Keating finished in 3rd. Ayden Sines and Drake Weber did set a tournament record by combining to make 14 bags in a row. The next fun intramural activity will be doubles ping pong on December 4th at 7:00 in the North Balcony. Sign your team up outside the PE office. Any questions, ask Coach Keating.
Attention Students: The Tireless and Staff Award are given to a Faculty and Staff member who have shown dedication and commitment to the students of LaSalle-Peru High School. These individuals or groups go above and beyond daily to provide our students with an environment that encourages and supports excellence. Nominations for both the Tireless and Staff awards have been sent to student emails. Please nominate as many faculty and staff members as you would like by Friday, November 22.
Attention Seniors, Cap and Gown orders will be taken during all lunches on Friday, November 22nd. The Jostens rep will be in the Student Commons on the north end. Please bring your order form and payment to school on Friday and take it with you when you place your order during lunch.
Attention Seniors: Daniela Rios of ISAC will be here on Thursday during periods 3, 4, 5a and 5b to offer direct assistance with college applications and FAFSA. Please visit the counseling office if you would like to sign up.
There is an opportunity for a $1000 scholarship per year for students who are accepted to North Central College. Check the counseling website under miscellaneous scholarships for more information.
There will be a Foreign Language Club meeting Wednesday, November 20 at 7:25 am in Room 137.
Attention all students. This Friday is meet the Cavs. Come out to watch your freshman, sophomore and varsity boys basketball teams starting at 6:00. Also, all levels of cheerleading and Cavalettes will be performing. Admission is free to all students. Hope to see you there.
Key Club will be meeting on Tuesday morning at 7:15 am in the Cavalier Community Room. Members are reminded that there are only two more meetings left to submit their dues.
Key Club will be kicking off our annual Giving Tree collection this week. A list of needed supplies will be emailed and at the holiday tree in the library. All staff and students are welcomed to bring in items needed for the kitties and doggies at IVAR.
There will be an FCA meeting in room 339 on Wednesday at 7:15.

Attention LP: It is that time of year to start thinking #BeBoldGetCold. There will be a Polar Plunge meeting on Thursday, Nov 21 for anyone who is interested in taking the Plunge for Special Olympics students and teachers. Please meet in CCR at 7:15am on Thursday, where Mrs. Witte will get you started and answer questions. If you have any questions please contact Mrs. Witte, Ms. Henry, or Mrs. Ganze.
LEAD will have a meeting during your lunch period on Wednesday, Nov. 20th. We will be discussing our upcoming socials and Rally 4 Respect night with Hall. Get your lunch and join us in CCR on the 20th.
Drama Club will be selling tickets for Law & Order: Fairy Tale Unit during all lunch periods this week. Tickets can also be bought at the door.
Law and Order: Fairy Tale Unit is on Friday and Saturday at 7pm. Doors open at 6:15. We hope to see you there!

Do you want to learn to build a website or write a program? Computer Club coders meet every Friday after school in Mr. Bjerkaas’ room - 341. New members are always welcome!
If you’re not doing a winter sport, consider wrestling. There is a Varsity and a Junior Varsity team, and we want you to join! There are 14 different weight classes ranging from 106 pounds all the way up to 285 pounds. All are welcome; see Coach Rebz in his office in the Sellett Gym, let the AD’s office know, or come after school and talk to us in the wrestling room. Come check things out and join our team.
Attention Link Leaders! There will be a Link Leader meeting for all Leaders on Thursday, November 21 during all lunch periods. The meeting will be in room 101, the CCR. Please grab your lunch and join us for the meeting on Thursday.

Attention sophomores and juniors: ACC sign-ups for next school year will begin on December 2nd. You can sign up at that time in the Counseling office.
Looking for volunteer opportunities? The Peru Public Library is looking for volunteers for different activities. And Utica is sponsoring Christmas in the Village on November 30th. They’re looking for volunteers to help with Polar Express children’s activities at the Heritage Center in the museum. For more information, come to the Counseling Office.
