Key Club will be meeting at 7:15 AM on Tuesday morning. Please remember to bring your dues payments. 


We are in the final week of Key Club's Trick-or-treat for UNICEF campaign and are getting closer to filling all of our 50 pledge envelopes. Help us contribute to EliMiNating Maternal and Neonatal Tetanus. Discuss with a Key Clubber your interest by October 31st! 


Attention Juniors and Seniors: IVCC is sponsoring a free bus trip to NIU on Friday, November 1st from 9:00 AM until 2:30 PM. On this college visit, you will tour NIU’s campus, hear about their academic programs and student organizations, and enjoy a free lunch. Field Trip permission forms were sent to student emails last week. Interested students should turn these permission slips in to the LP Counseling Office by the end of today.


Attention Seniors: Senior gear is available for purchase - check your email for a link to our online store to order your items.  If you have any questions, please see any member of the senior board, or you can contact Mrs. Turczyn or Mrs. Lamboley.   The store will remain open through Sunday, November 3rd.  


Attention students, faculty and staff: We will have a lost and found day on Tuesday, October 29th. Items that have been turned in will be displayed on tables in the hallways entering the cafeteria during all lunch periods. Make sure you check to see if we have an item of yours. We have lots of items like water bottles, coats, sweatshirts, lunch boxes, a retainer, and much more. Lost and found is located in the bookstore. You can always stop by during bookstore hours to see if your lost item has been turned in.


Attention seniors: sign up for the next College 101 on Monday, November 4 in the Counseling Office to find out next steps in the college-going process.  

To all students attending the Manufacturing Career Expo on Tuesday, October 29: Please meet at 7:45 at the 6th street entrance and wear your expo shirts, closed toe shoes, and long pants. 


Attention ALL baseball players not playing a winter sport:  There will be a mandatory meeting in Coach Glupczynski’s room (room 131) after school on  Monday November 4th.


There will be open gyms Tuesday and Thursday from 3 to 4 at Sellett gym. Any questions, ask Coach Miller or Kennedy.


Attention Writing Club:  Writing Club's October meeting will be on Tuesday, October 29 from 2:45-3:15.


There is a fun GSA pumpkin decorating tomorrow in room 331 after school!... hope to see you there. Perhaps some pumpkin-flavored treats will be there as well!... I guess you'll have to come see to find out!


Attention freshman and sophomores: Freshman and Sophomore Boards have a meeting Wednesday, October 30th at 7:30am in Room 136. New members are welcome!


Are you a high school student who’s making a difference through volunteering? Apply for a 2019 Prudential Spirit of Community Award, and you could win $1,000 or more, a beautifully engraved medallion, and an all-expense paid trip with a parent or guardian to Washington D.C. in May for four days of special recognition events. Applications must be submitted by November 5th. Fill out an online application. Check out the website under LP scholarships.

Attention Seniors: Daniela Rios of ISAC will be here every Thursday starting this week during periods 3, 4, 5a and 5b to offer direct assistance with college applications and FAFSA.  Please visit the counseling office if you would like to sign up.


Sign up for girls bowling will be held in room 323 on Thursday, October 31st from 7 to 7:45 a.m. Come out and join the team. No bowling experience needed.


Open Bowl is being held on Thursdays from 3-5 pm at the Super Bowl- a good opportunity to try it out.


The Activity bus will be available to use to get to the bowling alley. Starting Monday it will load right outside the Sellet gym doors.
