Attention Seniors, the Jostens rep will be here on December 5th to present graduation items such as announcements, invitations and senior wear. Seniors will report directly to the auditorium at the end of 5th hour for a 15-20 minute presentation. Jostens will be back on December 15th during all lunch hours to take orders. You will also have the option to order online. And remember, that your cap and gown unit has already been ordered by the school so you do not need to order them.
Attention sophomores and juniors: Are you interested in taking an ACC class for the 2023-2024 school year? Pre-registration for these classes is first-come, first-served and is now open. Pre-registration will close at 7:45 a.m. on January 11. A link was sent to your email last week.
Attention seniors: This is a reminder that the ISAC representative will be here on Thursday, December 8th from 10:30 to 12:30. This is for FAFSA and college/financial aid assistance. Sign up in the Counseling office if interested. The FAFSA is a graduation requirement.
On Friday, December 9th, a representative from IVCC will be here during 2nd and 3rd hour in the CCR. They are here to help with IVCC Scholarships and awarded at least 1 scholarship to every student who applied last year. Please sign up in the LP Counseling Office.
Anyone interested in using cardio room after school or learning more about how to use equipment or need help planning a fitness cardio program using any of the machines, then this is your opportunity.
The Cardio room is open on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays from 2:45-4:15pm. Any questions, contact Ms. Gibson.
Students, your first hour teachers will be passing out Final Exam Attendance Release/Waiver Forms today. Cosmetology students, you can pick up a form at the Greeter’s Desk. In order for you to be released from attendance on exam days in the following classes; Study Hall, ACC classes, Intro to Tech, AP Micro Economics, AP Comparative Government and Dual Credit Courses in which the exam has already been given, you must fill out one of these forms or, you will be expected to attend class on exam days. These classes are the only ones that you are allowed to exempt from during exam days. These forms are due back at the Greeter’s Desk on Thursday, December 15th.
Anyone interested in going out for tennis, both for the boy’s and girl’s seasons, please see either Mr. Guenther in room 146 or Mr. Blessman in the health room for information about offseason hitting. New players are always welcome.
Attention Renaissance Gold and Silver Card Holders: If you have not yet handed in your Jimmy John's Delivery Day form, we will continue to accept them through today. Your order form and payment are due to the Bookstore by the end of the day. No more orders will be accepted after today.
There will be an intramural ping pong tournament on Wednesday, December 14th at 7:00 pm in the North Balcony. Sign up outside the PE office. Any questions, see Mr. Keating.
Mr. Spudic will be in the weight room after school on Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday. If you are looking to work out, come on down right after school. See you then!
Attention Writing Club: Our revised December meeting date is tomorrow, Tuesday, December 6, in room 147 from 2:45 - 3:30 p.m. We will be working on the Santa letters. Hope everyone can make it.
Attention early graduates: You were sent an email on Thursday to fill out a senior questionnaire. Please make sure you get this filled out along with your FAFSA as soon as possible since this is a graduation requirement. Any questions, please see Mrs. Wilson or your counselor.
Please join Key Club in the Cavalier Community Room at 7:25 on Tuesday morning. We have several projects we will be planning to help our school, community, and the world around us. New members are always welcome!
