Attention seniors: On November 9th, you have the opportunity to tour the IVCC campus, meet IVCC representatives, and eat lunch with a panel of current IVCC students. November 9th is a non-attendance day for seniors at LP. Check your email for the link to sign up. You must RSVP by Thursday, November 3rd.
There will be a green team meeting today, October 24thh from 2:50 to 3:30 in the Student Commons. See Ms. Lance for more information.
The next Art Club meeting is Thursday, October 27th after school until 4:00pm in room 225, the Art Room. We are continuing to finalize the design for the YMCA mural. Everyone is welcome to attend.
There will be a math team meeting Tuesday, October 25th at 2:45 in room 336. Anyone interested in participating should attend this meeting. If you cannot attend but are still interested in joining, please stop and see Mrs. Patrick in room 336.
There is a forensic science club meeting on Thursday, October 27th after school in room 308.
Attention wrestlers- Open gym is Tuesday, October 25th from 4-5. Come check it out and bring a friend. Also, if you plan on wrestling, the apparel store closes today, October 24th! Get those orders in!!
Hello Book Club! We will be having a meeting this coming Thursday, October 27th at 7:15 AM in the library. We will be discussing our read and picking a new book for next month. New members are always welcome! If you have any questions, please reach out to Miss Scoma or Mrs. Tomminello.
There will be an FBLA (Future Business Leaders of America) meeting at 7:15AM on Thursday, October 27th in Room 324. New members are always welcome, so please stop by if you are interested or see one of the Business Department teachers for details.
The TOPS club will be meeting again to finalize red ribbon week ideas on Tuesday, October 25th, right after school in the health room, 116. Everyone is welcome! If you have any questions, please contact Mr. Blessman.

Attention seniors: There are many scholarships posted weekly on the Counseling webpage including many under miscellaneous scholarships. Stop in the counseling office if you have any questions.
The ASVAB test will be administered tomorrow, Tuesday, October 25, in Room 135. If you signed up to take the ASVAB, please report to Room 135 at 7:45 AM. Do not go to your 1st period class.
Any girl interested in playing basketball this year, please meet in the East Gym after school on Tuesday for a brief meeting - for all grade levels.
Attention AP students – this is one final reminder that you must register for AP exams by this Friday. Please go to your College Board account and select either “YES” or “NO” for taking the AP exam. If you have any questions, please see your AP teacher or Mr. Gibson.
Students who received letters from Mr. Gibson regarding the Seal of Biliteracy exam should register at the Bookstore prior to November 1, if interested in taking the exam. Any questions should be directed to Mr. Gibson or Mrs. Ramey.
Attention Mock Trial Club members…Please come to our fifth informational meeting on Tuesday, October 25, at 2:45 p.m. in the Cavalier Community Room. We are in need of new members, so try and bring a friend!
Attention GSA: There will NOT be a meeting tomorrow after school. Once again, GSA: NO meeting this week. Please check the Google Classroom regarding the possible bus trip to the Halloween Party at Kaneland on Friday!
Want to design a game in Roblox, create an Android app, or program a Self-Driving Vehicle? Come to an informational meeting for L-P Coders Tuesday at 2:40 in room 327. See Mr. Bjerkaas if you can’t make it to the meeting or have questions.
Are you interested in 3-D printing, design, mechanics, or coding? Come join Technology Club and help us build a Rube Goldberg Machine this Thursday after school in room E115 in the East Gym ACC Hallway. If you are unable to make it but would like more information on the club, please contact Mr. Wiercinski. Everyone is welcome, and snacks will be provided.
