There will be an intramural wiffle ball tournament on Wednesday, October 12^th at 7:00 pm. Sign up your team in the Sellett gym outside the PE office. Any questions, see Mr. Keating.

Picture retake day is Thursday, October 6th. The Lifetouch photographer will be in room 135 from 7:00 a.m. until 3:00p.m. If you haven’t been photographed by LifeTouch, please be sure to stop and get your picture taken for the yearbook. If you want to order pictures, picture proof packets with ordering information will be distributed a few weeks after retakes. Seniors, there are informational packets at the Greeter’s Desk if you are submitting a photo to the yearbook staff from another photographer.

There will be an informational meeting for any student interested in joining scholastic bowl on Wednesday, October 5th at 7:30 AM in room 124. If you are unable to attend email Mr. Woods at twoods1@lphs.net or stop by room 124 and talk to him.

Attention Juniors who signed up for the PSAT/NMSQT: Please check your LPHS email for an important message from Mr. Gibson with testing information. If you have any questions about the PSAT, please contact Mr. Gibson.

Attention Freshmen Board: There will be a meeting Thursday, October 6 at 7:30 in room 141.

Attention AP Students: The decision deadline for AP Exam registration is Friday, October 28. You must sign in to your College Board account to indicate YES or NO for the exam. If you have any questions about AP exam registration, please contact your AP teacher or Mr. Gibson.

There will be a Renaissance meeting today after school until 3:15 in Room 150. New members are welcome!

There will be a mock trial meeting Tuesday, October 4th after school in the Cavalier Community Room. This will be the second meeting. The first meeting was a lot of fun, so stop by and check out this new club.

Attention all Wrestlers or soon to be wrestlers: Open mats begin Monday, October 3^rd from 4pm -5pm. Everyone is welcome to come see what wrestling is all about. Bring a friend!! See Coach Rebholz in the PE office if you have any questions.

Please join Key Club in the Cavalier Community Room at 7:25 on Tuesday morning. We have several projects we will be planning to help our school, community, and the world around us. New members are always welcome!

There is a Forensic Science Club meeting Thursday in room 308. New members are always welcome.

Sign up for the next College 101 on October 5th which includes FAFSA and scholarship assistance. This would be during periods 5a, 5b, or 5c in the Cavalier Community Room. Sign up in the Counseling office. An ISAC representative will be here as well to assist with FAFSA completion.

SIU in Edwardsville, Illinois will be here on Wednesday, October 12 during 3^rd hour.

A representative from ISAC will be here on Wednesday, October 12^th for college and FAFSA assistance from 10:30 to 12:30.

University of Illinois, Urbana, IL will be here on Thursday, October 13^th during 4^th hour.

Interested students can sign up in the Counseling office to meet with any of these representatives.

Attention GSA -- there is a meeting tomorrow after school in room #331 to get ready for next week in the cafeteria! Hope to see YOU there!

There is a yearbook meeting on Thursday, October 6^th right after school in room 156.

Boys Bowling practices begin Monday, October 24th. All fees, physicals, and registrations must be on file in athletic office and up-to-date to practice on the 24th. If boys are planning to participate this year, these must be taken care of before practicing.
