There will be an FCA meeting Thursday morning in room 339 at 7:15. Please come and learn about how Christ can have a huge impact on your schooling, athletics, and activities.

The first Sophomore Board meeting will take place this Wednesday, August 31^st, at 7:20 in Room 136. All sophomores are invited to join, get involved, and support their class. See Mrs. Liebhart with any questions.

Attention anyone that will be 18 years or older on or before November 8^th, 2022 and is a US citizen including those naturalized, Carolyn Moore will be here on Friday, September 9^th to register voters. Please be sure to bring the following items with you in order to register:

- Proof of naturalization if applicable

TWO forms of ID, only ONE requires current address, i.e. DRIVER’S LICENSE and STUDENT ID are the most common, others include LIBRARY CARD, SOCIAL SECURITY CARD, CREDIT CARD STATEMENT, ETC

- Phone number

- Last 4 digits of Social security number

If you are interested in joining the 2022-2023 Special Olympics team as a peer or an athlete, please contact Mrs. Taylor or Ms. Moskalewicz, room 236 or email them. More information to follow.

The ASVAB test is being offered on Tuesday, October 25^th beginning at 7:45. Interested sophomores, juniors, or seniors can sign up in the Counseling office. This test is beneficial to gain additional experience in standardized testing and for those interested in a potential military branch. Please see your counselor for more information.

Attention any basketball players interested in participating in fall open gyms: There will be a meeting on Tuesday morning in Coach Cherveny’s classroom, room 115 from 7:20 – 7:40. Please be on time. If you cannot make the meeting, please make sure to see Coach Cherveny prior to the meeting.

Hello Cavaliers! Key Club will meet Tuesday mornings in the Cavalier Community Room at 7:25 AM. Key Club is the largest student-led high school organization, and members have the opportunity to work on service projects, build character, and develop leadership skills. We have several exciting projects we will be working on this year to help our school, community, and the world around us. New members are always welcome! We hope you will join us tomorrow in the CCR!

Junior Board will have a meeting Tuesday, August 30th at 7:20 in Mrs. Hartman’s room. (room 338) New members are welcome.

If you are interested in sharing your talents at the Variety Show, please see Mrs. Hartman in room 338 to schedule a time to audition. Try-outs will be held in the East Gym on September 13 at 3:00 pm. The Variety Show is Monday, September 26.

The Senior Board would like to congratulate Max Wertz on becoming Senior Board President and Emilia Hachenberger vice president.

If you like to play family games, meet after school in the student commons by the tv on Tuesday for chess club or on Thursday for card club.

Attention GSA: There is a meeting tomorrow after school in Mr. Makeever's room, room #331. ALL are welcome, and we hope to see YOU there!

There is a forensic science club meeting this Thursday, September 1^st in room 308 after school. We will be performing a lab on anthropometry. New members are always welcome.

Do you want to talk to the world on a new L-P student podcast or get involved in video production? Do you want to become a sports broadcaster? Get involved in the L-P Podcast Club. There will be an informational meeting at 7:20 on Tuesday in room 327. See Mr. Baker if you can’t make it or if you have questions.

For those students who are parking in the school lots: If you do not have a parking sticker, make sure to stop in the School Safety Office to pick up a form. Discipline consequences will be given right after Labor Day to those students who do not have a sticker.

Attention Science Club- our next meeting will be on Friday, September 2nd right after school in room 306. We will be making cards and performing our first activity! New members are always welcome!
