Two important dates have been set for Students and Families interested in participating in The Rotary Long Term Youth Exchange Program for the 2015-2016 academic year.
Informational Meeting – Monday September 15th 6:00PM Spring Valley City Bank
Students who are age 16, 17, or 18 are invited to apply to live abroad for one academic year. That year may be your Junior, Senior, or the year after your Senior year. Outbound students are asked to cover the cost of a round trip airline ticket, health insurance, and spending money for their year abroad. Students with a strong interest in Foreign Language and a good GPA will be considered. Information for future potential host families will also be provided. Students wishing to apply for the 2015-2016 Long Term Youth Exchange will be interviewed by local Rotarians. A back up date for interviews will also be scheduled for Monday, September 29th at 6:00PM. In order to be interviewed you must complete page 1 and page 2 of the Long Term Youth Exchange application. The application will be available at the Informational Meeting on September 15th. Students wanting the application sooner or more information can call Stan Wolf at 815-664-1000.
Entrance to the Spring Valley City Bank meeting room is on the east side of the building from the lower parking lot.
