Adams and Baker receive Renaissance Tireless and Staff awards.
LaSalle-Peru Township High School teacher Kristen Adams and communication director Matt Baker were recognized as the Renaissance Tireless and Staff award honorees for the first semester of the 2019-2020 school year.
These awards are travelling trophies given to a faculty and staff member who have shown dedication and commitment to the students of LP High School. These individuals go above and beyond daily to provide students with an environment that encourages and supports excellence. LP faculty and staff members are chosen for these recognitions based on student nominations.
In nominating Mrs. Adams, a student wrote, “Mrs. Adams never sends anyone off without explaining how to do the work and never turns down any questions so that every student understands what she is trying to teach. She gives all information students need to be successful and helps with anything they may need to be successful both during class and before or after school.”
Another student nominated Mr. Baker, writing “Mr. Baker is constantly working with so many different people to help them improve. He is someone who can be asked for a favor and wouldn’t hesitate to say yes. Mr. Baker helps everyone by recording concerts, games, podcasts, and so many other things. He is always running around helping people edit videos and make changes to sounds and other important steps to an amazing presentation.”
