L-P Renaissance Tireless & Staff Awards

The Renaissance Tireless and Staff awards are student nominated recognitions given to a faculty and staff member who go above and beyond for the students of LaSalle-Peru High School. Renaissance would like to congratulate our first semester Tireless and Staff winners, Mrs. Carbajal and Mr. Truskoski.

Our Staff winner is a member of LP’s Security Team, Mr. Truskoski. A student wrote, “Mr. T is always there to provide rides for teams to get to matches and practices. He makes sure we are on time and not late.” Congratulations, Mr. Truskoski!

Our Tireless winner is Spanish teacher, Mrs. Carbajal. One student wrote, “I have never seen a teacher as patient with teaching a subject like her. She gave me encouragement to come out of my shell and get more comfortable around my classmates. That shows what teachers see in their students that we don’t see in ourselves.” Congratulations, Mrs. Carbajal!
