Congratulations to all students who earned a Renaissance card! Criteria for earning a card is based on the previous semester GPA and discipline. All freshmen received a starter card. Be sure to keep your Renaissance Card in a safe place, such as in your ID plastic on your lanyard. Lost or stolen cards cannot be replaced. If you think that you received the wrong card, email or see Mrs. Eichelkraut before or after school.
Attention Renaissance Gold Card Holders: This Saturday is Homecoming. One perk on your Gold Card is the Homecoming FastPass. This allows you and your date to skip the line and enter the dance through a special door on the North Side of the cafeteria. In order to use this perk, bring your Gold Card to the dance and present it to the staff member working the FastPass door.
Attention Renaissance Card Holders: Today is the first Thursday of the month, which means students with Gold, Silver, Bronze, and Red cards can use the Early Lunch perk on their Renaissance cards. This allows card holders to leave class up to 5 minutes early to beat the crowd and get in line for food. To use this perk, present your card to your teacher in order for them to hole-punch the perk.
Attention Science Club: Our next meeting will be today, October 2nd, right after school in room 306!

Student Support Services here with your daily mindfulness activity. When is the last time you have done something kind for another person, just because, and not for any recognition? Did you know that acts of kindness have been shown to increase self-esteem, empathy and compassion, and improve mood? It can decrease blood pressure and cortisol, a hormone directly correlated with stress levels. Kindness can increase your sense of connectivity with others, decrease loneliness, combat low mood and improve relationships. We challenge you to do something kind for someone else today!
