Main Entry Gifts

Thanks to the generosity of the L-P Class of 1967, LPHS was able to renovate the main entry area, including the addition of two major gifts: a commissioned sculpture by Rodney Carroll and a granite marquee sign. The dedication ceremony on May 11, 2022 included a ribbon cutting and brief comments from L-P Superintendent Steven Wrobleski and organizers of the sculpture and new marquee donation, Cheryl DePaepe and James Yesinowski.

The new main entry sculpture, "Realm", was created by Rodney Carroll, an artist from Baltimore, Maryland. Carroll is recognized nationally for his large-scale sculptures awarded through public and private art commissions. His sculptures are included in national and international parks and gardens, universities and institutions, and public, private, museum and corporate collections.

You can find before and after photos of the project below as well as a video of the dedication ceremony.
