LaSalle-Peru Township High School is pleased to announce Mr. Steve Hanson has been appointed as the next principal by the L-P Board of Education.
Hanson has served as L-P Athletic Director since 2023, where he has demonstrated a strong commitment to our students, staff, and school culture. Throughout his time at LPHS, he has built positive relationships, supported student success, and contributed significantly to the many accomplishments of L-P High School.

LaSalle-Peru Township High School is excited to announce a major contribution from Eureka Savings Bank to support the high school’s agriculture program.
The L-P Board of Education formally accepted a $500,000 donation from Eureka Savings Bank during a Board Meeting on Wednesday night. In recognition of this significant gift, the Board approved naming the under-construction agricultural facility the Eureka Savings Bank Agriculture Center.
LaSalle-Peru Township High School is excited to announce the students who qualified for High Scholarship earning a 3.5 GPA or higher and Honor Roll earning a 3.0 GPA or higher in the Spring 2026 semester.
