Student Lunch Program - LaSalle-Peru High School uses the MOSAIC program for our cafeteria lunch program. Mosaic enables students to purchase lunches electronically each day using a debit system. The cost of lunch is deducted from the student’s lunch account. Students may deposit money into their account at the time of purchase with cash or check. Or an easier and quicker way is to make payments ahead of time using MySchoolBucks (MSB) for schools' online payment method. Click here for instructions on creating an MSB account and making payments.
Students can access their lunch account funds through the Student ID card issued at the time of registration. This hard plastic picture ID has a personal bar code printed on it. When the student goes through the lunch line, they simply need to scan their Student ID card at the register. This action automatically deducts their lunch purchases from their account, making the process quick and easy.
Free and reduced priced meals are available for qualifying students under the National School Lunch Program. Students who receive free or reduced-priced meals must also scan their cards. Students receiving free or reduced meals must purchase a whole lunch; ala carte purchases are charged at the total price.
