English

  • The English Division offers a variety of courses designed to develop essentials in communication skills entailing not only reading, writing, and speaking, but also instruction in listening, thinking,and research skills. An English class at LP.
    To fulfill the graduation requirements, students must successfully complete a total of seven English credits and one Speech credit. A full year of English must be taken at the freshman, sophomore, and junior levels, for a total of six English credits. The seventh English credit may be earn ed by taking one of the semester English electives during the junior or senior year. The one semester of Speech may be taken during the sophomore, junior, or senior year.
