When: September 14, 2024
Times: Noon-3pm
Needs: 5 Volunteers (3 to assist with running games such as a sack race, and 2 art students for face-painting), and Science or Math teachers wishing to do demonstrations during the event-maybe promote science and math clubs?
Halloween Events
When: October 11,12, 18, 19
Times: 4-7pm
Needs: Volunteers to run children's stations-3 each night (games and story-telling) and handing out goody bags-2 each night
Christmas VIP Event
When: Dec. 14th 11am-1pm
Needs: Small Choir and/or ensemble group

Contact local middle schools to volunteer for their concession stands. For example, Waltham school – 667-4417.
Send letters/cards to nursing homes or Veteran’s Home.
Assist local elderly and people in need such as raking leaves, shovel the driveway, and do housework, etc.
Donate clothes to local non-profit organizations such as Goodwill, Salvation Army, or shelter.
Pick up non-perishable food items to donate to the food pantry.
Illinois Valley Animal Rescue, LaSalle - donate items or volunteer at their shelter.

Career Cruising is an Internet-based career exploration and planning tool used to explore career and college options and develop a career plan. Career Cruising can be accessed from school, from home, or wherever you have access to the Internet. Features of the program include:
- Interest and Skills Assessment – a world-renowned career assessment tool to help people identify suitable career options based on their interests and skills.
- Career Profiles – thorough and up-to-date information about hundreds of different occupations, including direct links between careers and related college programs.
