I can't get my Chromebook to turn on.
- Make sure your Chromebook is plugged in to the power adapter provided by LaSalle-Peru High School.
- Make sure the adapter is plugged into the usb-c port on the left side of Chromebook.
- Press and release the Refresh and Power keys on your Chromebook’s keyboard.
- Wait at least 30 seconds for your Chromebook to turn on.
- Press and hold power button for 3-5 to turn on the Chromebook
- If this does not work, leave the Chromebook plugged in and let it charge for at least 20 minutes.
- If the Chromebook still won’t turn on, it will need to be brought into the Tech Center. Please follow the instructions below "WHAT IF I'M INSTRUCTED TO BRING THE CHROMEBOOK TO THE HIGH SCHOOL FOR REPAIR?"

I am having trouble accessing a website.
If you are having trouble accessing a website, first "Power off" the Chromebook. To do this, press the Power button upper right corner of keyboard. If this doesn't resolve the issue, you may need to clear the Chrome browser cache.
- Click the 3 dots in top right-hand corner of the Chrome browser.
- Select “Settings” from the drop-down menu.
- On the left side of your screen, select “Privacy and Security”.
- Select “Clear Browsing Data”.
- In the box that pops up, make sure you are on the Advanced tab; that the time range is set to “All Time”; and that you scroll through the list of things to clear and check each box.
- Click “Clear Data”.
- After clearing the browser cache, you will need to reset your Chrome Settings. Start by clicking “Advanced” on the menu on the left side of your screen and then clicking “Reset and Cleanup”.
- Click on “Restore settings to their original defaults”.
- In the box that comes up, uncheck “Help make Chrome better by reporting the current settings” and hit Reset Settings.
- After you have completed these steps, close all your open tabs.
- Close the Chrome Browser and open it back up.

How do I access my LP student email account?
- Type in Office.com in the URL section at the top of your internet browser.
- Click on the Sign-in link on the Microsoft home page.
- Once you get a sign in box, type your login information that you use to sign into your Chromebook and click next. Example: (student id number)@students.lphs.net
- Select “Work or School Account”.
- Type the same password in that you use to log in to your Chromebook and select “Sign in”.
- Once you reach the below screen, click on the Outlook icon.
- Type in Office.com in the URL section at the top of your internet browser.
