The District is seeking community partners that can make either a one-time payment or dedicated 10-year annual payment to help support at least half the cost of repaying an alternate revenue bond that LP would issue to pay for the upfront costs of installing artificial turf. This project will only progress if funding can be secured that will result in a zero property tax increase.
The goal is to pay back the bond over a 10-year period. With an expected cost of $1,000,000, the District needs to secure $100,000 per year to make the annual loan payment. LPHS is seeking community partners that can help fund up to at least 1/2 the cost of the project. All donors will be honored with their name prominently displayed in a permanent dedication housed within the stadium.
