Ms. Madeline Piller
Hello hello hello and greetings - I am (Ms.) Madeline Piller. My teaching career has brought me back from Phoenix, Arizona back to my home state of Illinois. As a native of the valley, I grew up in Mendota. After I graduated from the University of Illinois with a major in Integrative and Systems Biology, I was recruited by Teach for America and enlisted my service years at a 4,000 student school in Mesa, Arizona. I have taught many scientific subjects and have specialized in Biotechnology and laboratory safety and proficiency. I enjoy students who are big thinkers and who challenge the norm of scientific thought. As computer power upends the realm of science, the most important neural networks we will need to access are those inside of our own skulls. We must rely on our fellow man to guide us into the future with humanity, boldly and with decision, as President T. Roosevelt once quipped, "so that his place shall never be with those cold and timid souls who neither know victory nor defeat."
