Angie Hartman

I am very excited to officially be a part of the Cavalier family. I am originally from the state of Ohio where I attended The Ohio State University and received a Bachelors in Mathematics. Upon graduation, I worked as a computer programmer for a software company in Columbus. I moved to the Illinois Valley nine years ago with my husband and four boys. I recently worked at the Illinois Valley Community College as an Academic Support Technologist and a Developmental Math Instructor. This experience reinvigorated my love for education and inspired me to become a teacher. During this time, I obtained my Post-Baccalaureate teaching degree in Secondary Mathematics from Western Governors University. Last year, I had the privilege of substitute teaching in LP’s Math Department. I truly enjoyed this opportunity and am honored to begin my teaching career here at LP.
